Lightning caused and been burning for several days. While a the Cross Winds Restaurant in Payson could observe the smoke from this fire. The smoke column is just to the right of the highpoint.
A Huey used for Wildland is now at the Payson Airport, it replaced a Bell Jet Ranger.
