Early Spring Temperatures

I am considering hiking the southern half (sections 1-20) of the AZT starting mid-Feb. What can I expect for temperatures? Could that be too early a start if there is snow fall this winter?

The trail climbs immediately to over 7000 feet in the first 5 miles, reaching 9000 feet a couple miles later. So unless it's been a totally dry winter (unusual/unlikely) I'd think February would be too early for most people to start.

Thank you. I was kind of worried about that being at 9000 ft. Maybe I'll look for a lower elevation route. My timeline is kind of set.
