This will be the 100 year anniversary of the shootout at Power cabin and mine area. While in the future intend to take several days off around that time and backpack in. Anyone and everyone is free to join if interested. Not posting as event as too far in future but wanted to put it out there. If get enough people maybe do an informal reenactment. I'll re read and bring both books ( shootout at dawn and the Evaders).

Of course weather and access permitting. Could be snow or the whole place might be burned down.

Quick read although some inaccuracies here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power%27s_Cabin_shootout

A. Wear an Eye Patch

B. An ok book but I prefer the others as written by people close to the situation. Although the truth is probably obscured by points of view.
