That's because the better new model is coming out in a few months.

They are darn clunky and if you don't get the right fit, they are miserable on your feet after awhile...The new ones look lighter, a little more streamlined, laces instead of those stupid buckles and hopefully they've solved the Sole Separation Issue that the previous models are famous for....

The canyoneers are miserable on the feet for long trips even with the right fit and extra insoles (at least for me) and I'm not sold on the new design either. The Savants aren't so bad though. From a former die-hard stealth rubber fan, Adidas AX 2 GTX makes an excellent alternative.

Re: Climber, Biker, Hiker?
The Savants were good, but as usual a company gets rid of a good product and continues to sell an over priced one that most people hate but still think they need. The water tennie has been good to me, but nothing to wear on an all day trip. I'm just not a big fan of five ten shoes anymore.

@oceanwithin
Those Adidas look very similar to the Columbia trail shoes I've been using for years. They change the model name and the colors, but the basic shoe doesn't change. Good enough for tech canyons and comfortable all day, and a lot cheaper than 5.10s.
