Trail Maintenance in Haunted Canyon Area

Post by AZLumberjack »

Good news for users of the Haunted Canyon Trail (203) in the Eastern Superstitions
Just read a news article in the Apache Junction News that a volunteer trail crew from Flagstaff has been has been working on improvements to the Bull Basin Trail over to the West Pinto Creek Trail (212). The crew was being resupplied by volunteers from the AJ Chapter of Backcountry Horsemen.

For more on the project check out the article at; http://www.ajnews.com/2015-04-10eEditio ... dex.html#6

From what I've seen in the last couple of years, these volunteer groups do a heck of a job and should be commended for their efforts. :thanx: and a second big :thanx: to the Backcountry Horsemen for packing in the supplies.
On every trip into the Superstitions, I find another Gold Mine. Today the mine was filled with Memories. I can not wait for the next trip.

Good news, the Bull Basin and West Pinto Creeks were in dire need of maintenance last time I hiked each of them.
