When does it officially open up on Saturday morning? Been there many times but not sure, I think I read at 9am or so and I know how hard it is to get a spot there.
Have they raised the price recently at all? I think the last time I went it was $6 or $7 bucks to park.
If anyone can fill me in I'd appreciate it, thanks!

Re: West Fork of Oak Creek Parking Lot
I was there on Saturday, July 15th. We arrived at 8:30am and the lot was half full. I believe it opens at 8am. My advice is to get there before 9am otherwise expect to wait. The entrance fee is $10pixelfrog wrote:So is there a line of cars at 9am? Anyone been lately?

Re: West Fork of Oak Creek Parking Lot
There are a few spots along the highway within a half mile up/downcanyon from the parking lot entrance. Walking along the highway can be a bit sketchy with limited or no shoulder. But its free, and you can get there early and get into the canyon ahead of the crowds.
