This is the place I generally use.... mix-and-match some terrific F.D. meals using the meat/TVP and vegetables without the expense and waste of the pouches. Or use the meat/TVP to 'fortify' a Knorr's 'side'.

Thanks for the post. I'll save the link to a folder I have on the topic. Due to cost I have switched to pasta sides, etc., adding tuna packets. My backpacking/kayaking cooking skills need work, anyway. I've always been the "pour the water into the bag, wait 15 minutes" type of cook.
