Box Canyon/Martinez Canyon Wild Flower Viewing?
LaFong's (aka SAMBA) been THINKIN'. Have any HAZers been in the Box Canyon/Martinez Canyon area recently? I ask because I hiked there years ago in an El Nino year, and the wild flower display was the most spectacular I have ever seen, way better than RedRoxx44's "More Flowers" photo set posted today on this distinguished forum. I ask because Pivo and I will be heading Phoenix way on Sunday, and I was THINKIN' about suggesting taking the longer route through Florence to do a little wild flower exploring prior to scheduling a hike there for Tucson Flower Fellers. What say yooz guys, do I dare broach the subject with Pivo?
