passage 24: LF ranch closed to visitors
Passage 24 states that the "LF Ranch is closed to visitors. Please respect the private property owner by staying on the AZT to the east of the ranch." This was posted on Jan. 14, 2020. Does this mean the ranch is not accepting resupply packages? WIll they allow one to pitch a tent in thier field as stated on the website for the LF ranch or provide a resupply run into town? What is the current status?

@coati45
I would email the LF Ranch for the most accurate info. Their contact info is on their website.

@coati45
"them" is actually one person and she keeps pretty darn busy running the ranch on her own, as you can imagine. My guess is that she isn't accepting resupply boxes as she needs to make a trip into town to get mail, which is not an easy task from her location. As far as camping, approx. 1 mile north of the East Verde is Polk Springs. That's a great place to camp!!! If and when you do hear back from Maryann, please post her reply to let us all know the current situation. Thanks.

In 2017 I camped on the river bank, close to where the AZT crosses the river. Not sure if that is their land, but it was out of their sight and a great place, because East Verde is a proper river where you can sit in, wash, cool down
. I didn't resupply there and never saw anybody.
