Anyone ever made it to Cougar Spring in upper Dutton Canyon from the plateau?

I have not personally done it, but my notes suggest it is a straightforward off trail half mile from the Powell Plateau trail.
In this case, my notes come from one of my books on Harvey Butchart, so keep in mind that conditions could have changed since then.
