Yup, I've seen it before. I cannot say I'm really into the mountain part of it. I've done a few of them, but I also like off trail summits. I find some of my best climbs were off trail. I don't see what is so big about doing the 20 highest summits with trails. I have done Arizona's top 4 highest which 3 of which does not have a trail.
Mountains are there to be hiked!

I would have a hard time getting into the twenty highest peak challenge knowing that there are summits off-limits to hikers on reservation lands that would be among the top twenty in Arizona, but are not on the list due to access issues. The canyons part of it is much cooler; for peak list climbing, it's hard to beat Colorado and California.
