Hi All,
Just have a question regarding the Flume Trail up in Strawberry. I've heard that the flume has been dismantled...does anyone know if this is true? If so, is the trail still accessible or have they rerouted the water down the side of the mountain?
I've haven't hiked there in a couple years and was thinking of doing it next weekend but wanted to be sure that its still usable.
Thanks,
Marty

I was there in September, the Flume trail is closed as they decommissioned the flume and remove it, so you have to take the Fossil Springs Trail from the top.
There was a big discusion on the removal of the flume by APS, still haven't found out why it would be a bad thing. The area is still open down there, just not via the flume trail.
Fun place, I read that the water stays around 70 degrees year round, I would think that would still be cold with a air temp outside.
Fun Place though!
