I am planning my Arizona hiking vacation. I plan on hiking in the globe Area (among others). Any info abouth this hike??

Lots of hikes in the Globe and surrounding areas, Pinal Mountains and Sierra Anchas. However, we've been without rain for 4 months now and there's talk already of closing some of the national forests due to extreme fire danger. Not sure when your trip out here is scheduled for so you might want to check out the Tonto National Forest web page for updates on closures. http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/tonto/home.shtml
