Best Rainy Day Hike in Globe Region?

Post by ProdigalSon »

I am going to be in Phoenix for a few days next week. I want to do an awesome rainy, maybe foggy, hike in the Globe Region. I see that it is likely going to rain on Monday the 20th and perhaps Tuesday. Any recommendations for the best (visual) place to hike under these conditions?

Try rogers trough or the reavis trail, I've been in there a couple times when it's foggy and it's amazing, the trail follows the canyon but not down the wash. Sometimes it's up high and sometimes right through the creek. The fog settles into the creek so when you hike up out of it you get this great visual with the bottom of the canyon obscured and the rest of the mountains set out by the clouds. Amazing!
