Mt Hood Accidents

It's been quite a day on Mt. Hood near Portland, OR today. First a climbing accident, two groups of climbers fall into a crevasse near the summit. And then a rescue helicopter crashes into the side of the mountain. http://www.msnbc.com/news/759138.asp?0na=x211E1J0-. Fox News channel has been showing the footage of the helicopter crashing into and tumbling down the side of the mountain. This footage was broadcast live in Portland today. Pretty scary stuff, it'll be amazing if anyone onboard survived.

Similar incident happened several years ago in Hells Hole, rescue helicopter went down.

8O Wow, pretty intense. The video is increadible. I hope to hike that mountain some day. I pray that a disaster like that does not happen when I do it.
