Need Some Help

Post by sdwillia »

Hello,

I'm new to the site and looking for some info on a hike for the family in the December or Janaury time frame. My wife and I have done a few extended hikes, but would now like to get our eight year old daughter started.

I'm looking for something that we could hike in (7 to 8 miles) and then do day hikes from a base camp. Looking at spending 7 to 10 days in an area. Also looking for something in the easy (fairly flat) level for the youngster.

Anyone have some iedas?

Thanks
Scott (Wild Wilie)

here' s a link to easy hikes, for the request you have offered we have a full trail index to browse and make up your mind. Jan and Dec means stay down low (3000' or less) unless you really like to shiver. Have fun searching!
