Last May through October the Grand Canyon Association and Grand Canyon National Park sponsored an exhibit about the Civilian Conservation Corps work at Grand Canyon (1933-1942).
The full exhibit will open to the public at South Mountain Park in Phoenix on February 21 at 1:00 PM.
The exhibit will be open two days a week --- Friday and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Admission is free and it is located at the park's Environmental Education Center.
CCC Company 818 that did the River Trail, Clear Creek Trail and Ribbon Falls Trail in Grand Canyon, moved from Grand Canyon in 1936 and did substantial work at South Mountain Park.
The Phoenix venue is being sponsored by the City Of Phoenix and the CCC Legacy.
It will stay at South Mountain Park through August 31.
I visited this exhibit when it was at the Canyon and thoroughly enjoyed it - I would recommend it.
