Anywhere else up north that "maintains" trails for XC? Any other thoughts or suggestions?

XC Skiing
So I'm taking a furlough day tomorrow.
Yay! I'd like to go XC skiing, which I haven't done in years. Besides the Flagstaff Nordic Center, are there any recommendations of where to go? Back east, I have no problems with hitting up the local golf course, but I don't know if that's ok anywhere in AZ. And with the amount of new snow fallen, I think that the Nordic Center is the spot to go because sometimes its nice to have machined tracks.

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

Re: XC Skiing
The Mormon Lake lodge also has some XC skiing, and it is further from Flagstaff, so it probably won't be as busy. They also get more snow in the Mormon Lake area.

Thanks. For all the times I've been in that area in the summer, I've never ventured Lake Mary Road in the snow. I completely forgot about the winter activities that the Lodge offers.
