Cool hike near Near? phoenix
Me and some friends are looking to get out of town for a little hike in, camp overnight and hike out weekend. We're going first week of August sometime. Any good ideas? Anything involving trees and water?

West Clear Creek #17, Fossil Springs, or Hell's Gate to Tonto Creek. West Clear Creek would be the least work for the best payoff. Make sure to avoid Beaver Creek (Bell trail) in case somebody throws that out as a suggestion (since it's a popular summer water hangout). You can no longer camp on the best parts of that trail.
