Coleman Diamondback 30 degree Sleeping Bag
I recently picked up this sleeping bag last week for about 40 bucks at a near-bye store. Anyone here have 1. Havent read any reviews online about it so was just wondering if anyone had one. It would not be used in extreme cold ever most likely. Thanks

Re: Coleman Diamondback 30 degree Sleeping Bag
I hope its for car camping. Otherwise thats a heavy bag for backpacking(long trips). 30 degrees(in general) is good enough for alot of AZ camping. Hope that helps...just my 2 cents

Its not as heavy (4 pounds) as the one I thought it was. Which was a 7 pound monster.

Re: Coleman Diamondback 30 degree Sleeping Bag
4 pounds is pretty hefty for 30 degrees, but the price is right. If you get into backpacking you'll eventually want to upgrade to a down bag and save 2.5 pounds.
Keep in mind those big synthetic bags don't compress well, which lead to a larger backpack which adds...even more weight you're carrying.
