You may want to drop by the Rimside Grill in Pine for Oktoberfest......admission is free, food/drink is pay-as-you-go. Forecast is for DELIGHTFUL! 87 high / 55 low. What a concept...... a hike in the cool pines by day and then Schnitzel and a Spaaten Oktoberfest afterwards.

Oktoberfest is Saturday, September 25th! We will be serving up some great German dishes to include our homemade giant schnitzel, apple-hickory smoked pork chops, homemade brats from Charlie's in Payson, beer baked chicken and slow roasted prime rib. Don't forget to try our apple strudel and giant pretzels while relaxing and enjoying the festivities throughout the day!

German beers on TAP this year are: BitBurger Pilsner, Spaten Oktoberfest, Spaten Dunkel, and Franziskaner Hefe.

We will be playing volleyball, horseshoes and many other interactive games with D.J. Johnny throughout the day (noon~5)! We will also have auction items to benefit the Pine/Strawberry Elementary School general fund.

This years band is Gunpowder and Lead from Mayer, AZ (5:30~9:30)- They call themselves Gunpowder and Lead "because that is the kind of music you will get out of us. It is explosive and body moving music that is mostly modern country, with a touch of rock and blues. On the Gunpowder side of it, we play artists such as Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler, Grace Potter, the Eagles, CCR, Led Zepplin and Keith Urban to name a few. On the lead side of it, we play artists such as Johhny Cash and Merle Haggard".

Also, this weekend in Pine is the 3rd annual fall apple festival with lots of great activities for kids and adults alike! It is going to be a great fun filled weekend, so you won't want to miss out!
