This hike starts at the Mormon Grove TH and takes the saddle mnt trail to the Sheep Creek to the Cooper Camp. We'll stop at the Copper camp then, go off trail on an old horse trail over to the Sheep Creek trail. Then we return to the TH.
The milage is 22 miles with 5,800 feet of climbing. We'll visit a remote section of the Mazatzal that sees little traffic. The AZT runs through this loop. See my hike description for more details.
We're meeting at the Wendy's at Shea and Beeline at 6:00am.
