A few of my friends and I want to go on a hike sometime within the next 2 weeks in a place that has swim/a waterfall, but every place seems so far away or too difficult. Are there any hikes relatively around the Phoenix area that fit this criteria? We also only want to be hiking for 3-5 hours, not multiple days.
Thanks!

Fossil Creek up near Strawberry/Pine is probably your best bet. Either park at the top and hike down to (and back out from) the Springs, or drive to the bottom and hike upstream for some gorgeous scenery. Weekends are crowded though.

haigler creek...its very unused and easy to follow, you can go as far as you want and still be able to turn back. i go every summer, its my favorite place to be. there aren't big waterfalls but the amount you come across is awesome. its not well hiked, so you get solitude. and to continue on you have to swim, to see more. on here the best description is haigler creek to hells gate.
