Lizard,
Nice shots! I especially like the wildlife shots. I hope I get so luck some day.

Super cool. Love your pics, thanks for sharing!
I've been looking for a place to post my pictures, but apparentlly they're not taking newbies, wah
So far just putting pics on MSN but I think I have to 'invite' you to check 'em out. Yuk, yuk, yuk. I used to use Homestead for a website but it was not very user friendly and quickly got sick of that.

Woops, don't know how I missed those pictures from home. Grew up on the Kenai in Soldotna (locally known as Slowdotna). Anyhow, thought I'd put in my two cents about Alaska since I've noticed a few folks mentioning wanting to go there. Here it is....
If you go no where but the Kenai Peninsula you'll see everything you wanted to see in Alaska in one compact area, mountains; glaciers; rivers; oceans; moose; (possibly a bear) eagles; salmon; halibut; clams, etc. Its so beautiful. I was up there for my high school reunion last year and was sad to see acres and acres of standing dead trees affected by beetle kill.
My husband caught his first king salmon on that trip even tho we lived less than a mile from the Kenai river for years. It was a 50# 'er. Needless to say, he's going back again in June.
Don't have to much info on hiking there tho, I'm afraid of bears.
