OMG!
and what a shot!
and what a shot!
For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.

@Rob del Desierto
I got that same error with Google Chrome.
It worked just fine in Microsoft Explorer.

Do a screen capture. Paste to Paint. Clip the web site junk from the side. Save as. Then use that as your background. ;)

Re: Incredible monsoon picture in the GC
Just to be the grinch here, if somebody posts a photo online and intentionally programs a feature to disable the ability to right-click/save/download, even if you can get around it, aren't you clearly violating the desires of the artist?
Just a thought...now please excuse me while I check on the status of my torrent downloads... ;)

Re: Incredible monsoon picture in the GC
It's probably for sale, not for free. Even though just about anyone with the technology and users manual can make a similar photograph, he's an "artist" and needs money for that. It isn't 1870 anymore, photography is greatly democratized, but all that did was create 60 million Ansel Adams wannabees. I can't believe the number of people trying to sell their pics. Seems to me, that you won't really be able to make a living at it, and if the art itself is the motivator, then just give them away and be happy someone noticed it. Don't even get me started on filters and the things people do to their images. :SB: Sure, the image is nice, but I bet some of our mediocre HAZer picture takers in Tucson could make a similar one of lightning over the Rincons or Catalinas.

Re: Incredible monsoon picture in the GC
Go to Dan's website and see if he has it up there. I forget but just google Dan Ransom. Good guy. Frequents a Utah hiking website "Bogley" I bugged him about some photo advice and he has been gracious enough to let me give him a shout the next time I get up to Utah.

Re: Incredible monsoon picture in the GC
People who disable right click on a web as a means of protecting their stuff, are not thinking clearly. For one, the "disabling" is accomplished with javascript. Disable javascript, you disable the disabling. (I ran into this once on a Maricopa County pollution survey that for some unfathomable reason did not allow access to Firefox.) If you want to protect your stuff, there are much better ways to go about it ...
