BBBQ

Post by Jim »

The extract "B" is for BYOBB. What is the second extra "B" for? That's a typo.

BBQ, or Barbeque. It's good. The one by the Train Depot in Durango is good, but I won't be over there for over a month. Waldo's in Mesa was good, but I won't be in Mesa.

Where in Tucson, say around Catalina SP, or other areas, can one obtain high quality, "top notch" BBQ?

Plus, what sort is best? Carolina Vinegar base? No, god no. St Louis style? Yeah, that's good. Florida/ Georgia Molasses base? Yes. Texas style. Yeah, it's pretty good.

It all sounds pretty good to me. Especially if it's ribs.

I love BBQ in all its forms. I just got back from NC this morning and unfortunately the only BBQ we had was from a chain (no hushpuppies!). I like those shacks in the woods with three cars in the parking lot for every seat inside. I had some pretty good BBQ in my Georgia days. I never could find the same kind of stuff anywhere else. I always have at least one meal at Joe's Real BBQ in Gilbert when I'm in the area.

Grew up eating at Joe's.

I really like the bbq at the Salt Lick. Unfortunately, it's in Austin, TX :sl:

There's a BBQ place in Austin with a sign that says something like "We trade meat for money". I recall it being an eminently fair deal.
