Bighorn in the Supes...
What's up with all the bighorn sightings in the Supes recently. I've never seen such a flurry of them on HAZ. I know Fish & Game has been doing some population work up north but that's a long way away. What gives?

Re: Bighorn in the Supes...
CannondaleKid was just telling me he saw a cluster of four of them about four miles from Peralta TH today. Snuck right up on them ...

A group of 4 certainly entertained me and Van yesterday at Weaver's.

Re: Bighorn in the Supes...
Outlander posted this in a triplog for Woolsey Peak. I was surprised that they typically gather in such large numbers. Assuming it is true, it might partly explain why there have been so many spotted recently. I personally think it would be cool if there's a large and healthy herd out there!
The sheep herd up there is paltry: only three were spotted on this occasion. Herds of less than 50 individuals typically go extinct within seven years, according to AGFD biologists.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

I understand that they thrive on apple cores, banana and orange rinds, candy wrappers, cheetos, granola bars and beer cans such as Keystone....Tough_Boots wrote:What's up with all the bighorn sightings in the Supes recently. PS - And that they love to have their photographs taken while butting saguaros... ;)

@SuperstitionGuy
You forgot left over burritos, shell casings, cig butts and random pieces of clothing.
