Armer Mountain, AZ :: C-47 Wreckage
Anybody here possibly have the gps coordinates and/or decent instructions on how to get to the C-47 wreckage on the west side of Armer Mountain? I went camping up at Workman's Creek recently with friends and when I got back home my neighbor informed me of the site being up there and it got me curious. Any help would be appreciated.

We were up there last year July as part of a larger hike, casually looked with no luck.
Here's our triplog and gps track.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Ah-ha! I knew I had this site bookmarked somewhere: http://planecrashmap.com/map/az/
Zoom in on th appropriate area. It is a green ? marker. Click it for details.
---
Looks like about 1300 down a steep slope from the peak top. Make sense since the news accounts say the rescuers (or recoverers) had to crawl on hands and knees due to the terrain.
