Early 2020 NOBO AZT - Looking for Partner

Post by DerekHikesAlot »

I'm planning on doing AZT NOBO in early 2020. Start date is still moderately flexible right now but plan to start in late February. I have few buddies interested in potentially joining for smaller segments but I am looking for 1 or 2 hikers interested in doing the whole shebang. I've read through some of the posts in this forum but if there is any advice, it is welcome. Cheers!

I'm hoping to start around the same time SOBO. Not looking for a partner as I like going by myself, but would be interested in sharing shuttle. Dates somewhat flexible - I'm still trying to find out what trail conditions are likely to be - don't want to be stuck in snow for long stretches.

SOBO will be snowbound for the first 80 miles in February. Guaranteed.

Woops, messed up! I am planning on going south to north, about 250 miles only. So all I care about is the likely snow level of the most southern 250 miles.
