I think the 30% is terrified of rats, probably similar for spiders.

I have a Bug-A-Salt gun with a laser sight for the spiders and flies. MyRudy, will take care of everything else. However I am glad he didn't kill the snake he found in my bedroom a few months ago.

I went back to the original reference and note that American women feel more confident than British men that they could beat 1) crocodiles, 2) elephants 3) gorillas, 4) grizzly bears, and 5) lions. Having a mixed anglo-american family I got a kick out of that.
