Looking for hiking buddies in end of September
Hey guys! Im looking to find other hikers to join my hiking trips. I will be in Phoenix for a business trip and then a holiday and would love to meet up with other hikers. Planning to drive around the state and do a weekend hike somewhere possbily Sedona on weekend of 20/21 Sept and then from 24th to 1st October am planning to drive to Grand Canyon nad perhaps even across to Utah. I am a young, fun, open minded, well travelled hiker from Australia.

In response to wusters' reply:
Pumphouse Wash Hike (Sedona)
Saturday, September 20th
Leader: Kurt Sedler
email: (kurt@ibmmonitors.com)
Length: 6 miles +/-
Rated: Moderate +
Meet at Denny's Parking Lot I-17 & Bell Road at 7 AM Sharp.
This wonderful hike will take us down what are basically the upper reaches of Oak Creek Canyon. We will be hiking in the canyon bottom with no discernable trail, as such; so be prepared for a bit of boulder hopping. The hike starts out in a shallow drainage, but near the end the canyon walls are almost a thousand feet high. There will be pools of water to be skirted, but mostly we should be able to keep or feet dry; although, as in the rest of life, there are no guarantees. If it is warm enough, a swim might be in order.
We'll be running this hike one-way, utilizing a shuttle. After this hike, we can visit a local Sedona watering hole.
