State Land Permits

Post by Nighthiker »

The law enforcement folks are cracking down on people who are out on Arizona State Trust Lands without a permit and the fine is $ 250. You can get a permit for $ 20 at the state land office in Phoenix at 1616 W. Adams.

In response to Nighthiker's reply:

I misplaced mine and called about a replacement. They won't issue a replacement, I'll have to buy a new one.

The woman at the office told me I could carry a photocopy and keep the original safe at home. Don't know how field enforcement might view a copy though. I would think that a copy of a current valid permit should be as good as the original.

I make copies and put them in my gear and my vehicles. They are quite surprized that you actually have one.
