Does anyone have information about backcountry springs in Canyon de Chelly National Monument (both Canyon de Chelly and Canyon del Muerto)? Can anyone recommend any guidebooks, recent or ancient, that would list reliable water sources? Any other sources of information you've come across?
Don't worry - I'm not planning on heading out there without a guide. I just want to look at possible routes.
Thanks!
Rebecca

In response to renshiwo's reply:
Well, I was looking at topos of the area earlier this week, and I remember seeing some springs on those (at least the topos they've got on http://www.topozone.com). I don't have anything else besides that, sorry.
