I would inquire locally, but the Mule Mtns. are right there. The Chiricahuas not so close by, but pretty awesome.
While you are in Bisbee, especially if you have kids with you, check out the mine tour, where you ride on a little train about a mile into the bowels of the earth, into the old underground mine. It is a lot of fun, and interesting, too!
Copper Queen Hotel is the grand old place to stay, although of course there are beaucoups B & Bs.
