I'll be joining some of my biking buddies from Scottsdale for a long weekend of biking and hiking in Sedona, http://www.meetup.com/mtbike/events/78196692/ . My focus will be on hiking, and I may or may not even bring my bike with me. My main reason for going is to spend a day hiking a loop off of Schnebly Hill Road. The plan is to hike from Oak Creek up the Damifino Trail, http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=671 , to Mitten Ridge and then hike a loop around Mitten Ridge. I hiked the loop around MR, http://hikearizona.com/map.php?GPS=12181 , this last June, but the Damifino Trail will be virgin country for moi. I/we will use a GPS track posted on this venerable forum by the esteemed HAZ poster, Coanbru, to get us to Mitten Ridge, and a GPS track posted by the not-so-esteemed poster, SAMBA, to circumnavigate MR.
Whadda ya say? Any takers?

Re: Schnebly Hill Ramble
I love that loop! Enjoy...
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
