Starting up again

Post by punkrawk- »

I am just getting back into hiking and fleeing away from Phoenix and wanted to ask some recomendations from people.

During this time of year where do you think would be good up near Prescott or Sedona for some beginner/intermediate trails. I want to be in good shape so I can hike the GC this spring before it gets too warm.

Sound's like your looking for someplace with few people if you want to get away from Phoenix, right? If Sedona's your thing right now, check out The Loy Canyon Trail. It's one of my favorites, totally secluded, and with a great ascent of the Mogollon Rim. If your training for the Canyon, that should get you in shape real quick. :)
Don't worry, be happy!
