| partners | | Joe and I left AZ at 7:45am this Thursday morning for our first overnight in California, 30 miles outside the east entrance to Death Valley National Park at the historic and interesting Amargosa Opera House and Hotel (at Death Valley Junction..Hwy127/190).. http://www.amargosa-opera-house.com/
We had the next 7 full days (2/12-18) planned for our stay in the park using Furnace Creek Ranch as a base camp for hiking and exploring a number of very special areas within the various mountain ranges of this huge 3.3 million acre DVNP.
Since 1991, this was my 5th trip to Death Valley and I am now looking forward to the next.. |
