We started off on the Bell Trail #13 and immediately saw three big birds soaring and spent most of the next mile and a half watching them. We went up the White Mesa Trail 86 which was steep and not very white, But did have good views of Long Canyon #63 which we had hiked earlier in the week.There were cairns after the top and I presume they guide to Apache Maid trail, I wish I had known this before the hike as it would have been nice to come down a different way. We returned down to the Bell Trail and went along to the Weir Trail #85, a short pathway to the Gauging Station, the water was flowing a lot faster here than the last time we were at The Crack.
