Plenty of water in Sawmill Canyon made for some fun playing with my Shutter Speed. Reached first patches of snow near Sawmill Springs where I turned around at approx. 6800 ft. The trail continues up to Flordia Saddle and one can also continue on to Mt. Wrightson from here.
Note that there was quite a bit of immigrant signs along the Greaterville trail and the looks of a make-shift camp along the trail as well. Also what appeared to be mountain lion sign/scat along with a dead deer near the trail as well. Made for some interesting surroundings to say the least. |
