| no partners | | A very scenic hike with wildflowers everywhere. Saw one elk run away from me on the other side of the river. Perfect time of year to attempt this. If you don't like fairly flat trails, this one is not for you.
Note: The signed trail says 3.25 miles at the beginning. I clocked 2.5 each way to the signed trail for West Fork of the Black River. At this junction the sign said 2.4 miles back up Thompson. So if you add the short roadwalk 5.0 seems right for the round trip. Perhaps Joe could update the page. |
