after descending this in the dark last month. The plan was to explore the entire canyon, but flyphi brought a buddy and it was clear by the time we got to the cold springs trail that he may have difficulty doing this hike. Plan b hiked around the Colds Springs trail and up to Pueblo Canyon then attempted to hike Pueblo Canyon to fr203 but had to turn around 1/3 of the way to the road due to an unsurvivable drop. 
So I now need to get some canyoneering experience for both upper devil's chasm and pueblo canyon. The motivation for getting these skills is developing. 
Descended the trail from Pueblo Canyon to FR203 in the dark. Seems to be a pattern when I hike with flyphi. 
Also, returned Princeton Tec Byte I bought for preflighting aircraft for switch problems and took replacement on trip. Toward the end of trail about 50' from fr203 this light failed just like previous one. Junk! FYI.
