It was a Sierra Club C3 Devil's Canyon weekend. We started Saturday with some rock climbing at the Pancake House. Staying the night at the Oak Flats Campground. Sunday we opted for some canyoneering into Lower Devils Canyon and its renowned 5 pools!

We rappelled into 1,3,4 & 5. Some jumped into 1 and we slid down into 2, which is a puddle more than a pool. After passing through the pools we scrambled back up, skirting along the right side of the creek and back out of the canyon the way we came in. As always, Ted and Connie Gartner did an awesome job of leading the event and everyone had a great time. What a beautiful canyon and a fun weekend.
