I got started at 6:30am with Brian and my co-worker, Jim. I last hiked this area in April of 2005 and it looks very different now with the new trail system completed and housing development that has creeped further in. We managed to do all the trails in about 5 hours total hiking time. I've posted my GPS route of this in case anyone wants to try this area and isn't sure which trail to try first.

Temps were cooler than I expected in the morning but got pretty warm once the sun made it over the horizon. This area is beginning to some crowds now, but most of the people seem to be coming from the houses within walking distance.

About halfway thru we saw a rattlesnake laying in the sun across the trail. He seemed pretty sluggish and slowly made his way off with some slight prodding.
