Dave and I heard it might be a warm one so we started at daylight.Grace was nice enough to drop us off at our southern trailhead.Hit the trail around 6 and the temps were great.Checked out the Artisian Well(with hummingbird) and got moving to get the biggest climb in before the heat.Nice views,lots of birds singing,more flowers than I expected,a couple snakes,and great company!There was NO shade on the second half of this hike and it was a little warm.We finished a lttle after 12 so we beat some of the hottest hours.Finished with lunch at Hermanos and headed home.Another great day on the AZT! Thanks for going and driving me home Dave! :D
