| no partners | | | Unusually hot (for Flag) and windy this weekend! I started from Fort Tuthill and ran north. Nice forest for a bit, then some meadows, then a big grassy gully full of gold poppies! According to the FUT website, this trail hooks up with another that curves around the NAU campus, but in reality it dumps you out on a street next to a map that is probably useful for people who know where they are and what the names of the streets are. I had mileage to put in, though, so I wound up going out and back on Milton (yum, fresh carbon monoxide!) and then retracing my steps back to Fort Tuthill. |
