A relatively easy hike for the first part, then if you decide to go further up, the trail turns into many different options and the difficulty level turns to moderate, and involves some use of the hands. The views of the Sedona area are spectacular from that vantage point. This is a must do / see if you love the Red Rocks. Because I went further up the mountain, there were some places I had to "sit and slide" a little to get down to the next place I could step down, but not bad. Spotted a couple of turkey vultures, a hawk, and some lizards. It rained hard the night before so there was some places where the water was still trickling down the rocks.
