| partners | | We headed out with the intention of checking out some mines around Mineral Mountain but it seems the planned spots no longer had anything to offer. So rather than continue with nothing to show for it I figured we'd just drive some of the roads Tracey hadn't seen before.
After taking her up and down some of the scariest hills in the Cottonwood/Box/Martinez Canyon area she was all for getting out of the vehicle for a while... even if it meant walking in a wash for an hour-and-a-half.
So that's what we did... just an out-and-back with a short side trip up what used to be a road probably some 50+ years ago, hoping it might lead to an old mine. But it didn't. Oh well, we did get a chance to see some of the surrounding mountains from a different viewpoint. |
