Wally "Superstition" Farak was nice enough to let me join him on his summit of Music Mountain.We hiked the road and took Peters Trail in.There is still no trailhead sign.There was water in a few places but the only spring we saw with water was Kane Spring.There was quite a bit of "good ol" Catsclaw on this mountain.We went up the west and down the northeast with minimal blood loss.The route down was better.We explored around the top and found the register.The bottle had a little water in it so we poured it out and let the sun dry the paper while we looked around.There was only one family signed in from Dec 2010.Wally found some kind of sprayer without the tank.I wonder what they were sraying.Plants,Cattle,...?
The views from the summit were great.Hoolie Bacon seemed longer than I remembered

.The date on the concrete tanks at nighthawk spring were from the 1930's.From there we checked out Tortilla Well and hiked the road out.The Hedgehog were in there glory.Wally set the pace

and we were out in no time.We topped it off with burgers and shakes from J W's, MmmMmm.Thanks to Wally for driving and the great hike.
