Finally made the climb up Romero Canyon to the pass today with my friend Phil (who I met last week climbing Pusch Peak). Past the pools the trail at times is hard to follow and occasionally overgrown a bit, but there is a nice cairn network that generally keeps you out of trouble. This is a great climb up to a nice saddle looking down upper reaches of Sabino Canyon. His GPS tracked it at 14 miles and a little over 3200 ft climb.
