| partners | | Oh man this was a perfect day for hiking to Reavis. The air was crisp and cool when we started at 6:30AM. By the return it had warmed up to almost toasty but the sun felt good on the face. The skies were about as clear as I can ever recall. You could see for miles and miles in all directions. Just awesome!
I really enjoy the trek into Reavis from the north. In fact I think I like the trek in from all directions but this route offers a nice gradual ramp in and ramp out. The views along the way are tremendous. I particularly enjoy the views of the lake below.
Joe and I had a few of the many apples and went on a hunt for a trailer and a spring. After reading Superstition Gurus information on where it is I think we may have been just a tad south of it. Hard to say but it has peaked my interest. Who knows, if I can figure out a time I may just go back and hunt it down. The streams are virtually dry so it should stick out if it is running.
Anyone know a good diviner? Wally? |
